who we are
Glen Sprouse, Founder
With nearly 20 craft breweries under his belt and hundreds of automation solutions, Glen is one of the most experienced consultants in the industry.
Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, his background includes engineering design and product development, being a plant and project engineer, selling automation products and solutions, and application engineering support at the corporate level.
Glen’s background in the beer industry is equally impressive. With nearly 30 years of professional brewing experience, he earned a Master Brewer’s certification from the Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering program offered through the American Brewer’s Guild program then affiliated with UC Davis. As one of the pioneers in Georgia’s craft beer industry, he helped write (and pass) Georgia’s brewpub legislation.
He’s owned, designed, built, and operated successful breweries and brewpubs in the Atlanta metro area. Glen’s hallmark has always been quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
Thanks to his innovative brewery process automation systems, his beers boasted quality and consistency to levels beyond what was achievable in the industry at the time.
As a consultant, Glen has developed new solutions to persistent problems, developing solutions for companies including: Anheuser-Busch, Miller Coors, Stone Brewing, Pyramid Brewing, Sweetwater Brewing, Santa Fe Brewing, Stony River Brewing, Coca Cola Enterprises, M&M Mars, Frito Lay and others.
